was born in 1967 to a Maharashtrian family. She started her training at the age of 8. She holds a degree in Kathak Nritya Visharad (Purna) from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
She has also done M.A. in Kathak from Tilak Maharashtra, Vidyapitha Pune. She is a disciple of Guru Mrs.Sanjivani Kulkarni from Nashik and is fortunate to have special guidance from eminent personalities like Pt.Birju Maharaj & Guru Munnalalji Shukla.
