Theme:- Go Green – Need of the Hour
Date :- Sunday 21st July 2019
Itinerary :-
08.45 AM: Report at Nature Information Center (NIC) and Registrations.
09.15 AM: Introduction to the theme and understanding the need to Go Green. Discussing what human habits are leading to global warming & unpredictable climate change and how can we bring a change by taking small steps.
10.00 AM: Discussing about how planting trees will solve our problems in coming future and making a seed bomb (Takeaway). Discuss about what test are to be done before planting trees or growing crops.
10.45 AM: Snack Break.
11.00 AM: What role does water, soil & environment play in the growth of plants and why it is essential. Making a model of self watering plants as a takeaway.
11.45 AM: Discussing the modern techniques to solve our problem and how do we implement them. A small demo of how solar energy can be converted into different form of energies as per the required application using demo toys. Discussing about other renewable sources of energy and their efficiency.
12.45 AM: Feedback and Conclusion.
Information and Instructions –
1. Kids should be dressed in full clothes.
2. Kids have to carry their own snacks, chocolates etc, but they should be ready to share it with other kids.
3. Kids should be wearing good shoes. No slippers or sandals will be allowed.
4. Parents should refrain from sending in mobile phones and valuables with your kids. Cameras and binoculars will help.
5. Kids have to carry their notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers etc.
