Madhubani painting is a style of art practised in the Mithila region of Bihar and Nepal. ‘Madhubani’ literally means forests of honey. Its main features are line drawings filled in by bright high contrast colours and very intricate details and patterns.

About the artist: The artist has been conducting Workshops for 5 years and has been practising this art form for more than a decade.
